A TRADITIONAL ABBEY STYLE BREWERY
Our 1961 'De Halve Maan' copper brewhouse came all the way from Belgium to Franschhoek.
It was then installed into our Abbey style brewery.
This copper brewhouse has a history and story as interesting as our beer.
A journey across the 7 seas in which an infamous brewhouse was destined to continue its legacy well into the 21st century.

A Belgian inspired Abbey style brewery located just 3km outside of Franschhoek on the R45 Main Road. We express our brewery’s culture through our artisan style of beer brewing. We brew beer in our 1961 copper brewhouse brought in all the way from, yes you guessed it, Belgium.
